Bio:
Before his recent retirement, Bob Betz was the President of Cognis Corporation, the North American operation of Cognis worldwide, a leading specialty chemical manufacturer with headquarters in Dusseldorf, Germany. Cognis manufactures and markets products and systems for customers in the personal care, nutrition and health, industrial, household, textile, agricultural and mining markets. He had previously served as Chemical Group President for Henkel Corporation and in numerous other chemical industry management positions over the course of his career. His education includes the Harvard Business School Program for Management Development, as well as an MBA and a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati. He currently resides in Cincinnati, Ohio.
